Grade 9 – Personal Development & Well-Being Unit Assignment

I am very excited to announce that our Personal Development and Well-Being unit begins this week.
I have begun to arrange a variety of specialists to come in and assist me in exposing the grade 9 girls class to a range of different activities.

Some of these activities include:
-Pilates
-Step and Aerobics
-Ballet
-Meditation
-Belly Dancing

Throughout this unit we will also be doing some cardio and weight-training using the facilities we have available at the Ruoholahti weight gym.

Your assignment will be to keep a ‘PE diary’ of all our classes and the activities we do over the next few weeks.

The diary can be presented using a number of mediums.  It can be a traditional diary, or an online diary (use Penzu.com) or written using your favorite word processing program.

(Here is a sample diary entry I wrote for this assignment.)

So ladies, remember to be prepared with comfortable clothing, a hair tie, water bottle, and indoor running or court shoes throughout this unit.
